IHE 2009

Following on from the successful 2008 IHE events, IHE Australia is organising a number of events in 2009. On July 28-31 the 2009 Connectathon will be held at NICTA in Sydney.  The 5th Interoperability Showcase will be held as part of the Industry Exhibition during the HIC'09 and Health-e-Nation conferences on 19-21 August, 2009 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.

CAQH CORE and HL7 Announce Collaboration to Improve Interoperability Between Administrative and Clinical Systems

CAQH CORE and Health Level Seven International (HL7) today announced a collaboration to address long-standing healthcare industry challenges by accelerating automation and improving interoperability between administrative and clinical systems.  This is the first time these two organizations, which conduct complementary work to improve the electronic exchange of data across the healthcare industry, have collaborated on solutions to specific technical and administrative burdens.

Health Level Seven Announces New Board and TSC Members, Fellows and Volunteer of the Year Awards

Health Level Seven® (HL7®) International, the global authority on interoperability of health information technology with members in 55 countries, announced election results for its board of directors and technical steering committee at the 33rd Annual Plenary and Working Group Meeting in Atlanta, GA.  The 2019 class of HL7 Fellows and the 2019 recipients of the W.  Edward Hammond, Ph.D.  Volunteer of the Year Awards were also recognized at the event.
